Where Does The Time Go...

Do you ever try and figure out what you actually do to fill your 24 hours in every single day? We know we are busy, and we always feel like there is so much going on in our lives. However, when we are asked the question..."What have you been up to lately?"...our minds draw a blank. The same thing happens when we decide to sit-down and update our blog. At this time, all we see is a big black void...notta...zippo...absolutely nothing interesting comes to mind. But yet, we know I have spent the last month of our lives busy. What is worth mentioning though?  That being said...here is our attempt to fill everyone in on the lives of Marc & Chani in Alaska.

Spring is coming...we can just feel it! We made a halfhearted attempt to rake our lawn this week, but the effort was all a waste. First, because there are mounds of snow still covering half of the lawn. Second, looking outside this morning we see a down pouring of white, which can only mean it is snowing...yet again! AHHHHH! How many inches of snow do you think we received today...TWENTY-TWO INCHES!!!! At the end of April...you have got to be kidding me! We are getting excited for the change in season though, as we know it is so close.

We have made the final decision to upgrade to a bigger house. Halleluiah! We are so excited to start the home searching process again. Before we get to far along though, we need to finish all of the little projects around our house to prepare it rent or sale...depending on which route we choose to go. This means remodeled bathroom, new paint, new carpet, update some appliances, and clean, clean clean. This is something we really enjoy doing...the projects. Usually Marc’s clients come first on handyman work, which always leaves our houses little projects incomplete. So, getting those finished is going to take time, but will be fun through the process.

Chani was able to take a last minute trip home to Northern Utah in late March, and it was so good to see everyone. A week with family sure did her some good. She was there over Easter, and had almost forgotten how much more fun holidays are with close family.

This is our FAVORITE commercial. No matter how many times we watch it, it never gets old. There is something so wonderful about it...and plus, it includes some of our favorite shows. We LOVE the Discovery Channel...WE LOVE THE WHOLE WORLD!!!
