Baby Due Date Update...

So a quick baby update for those of you keeping track. We had a doctors appointment yesterday, and baby is coming along just wonderfully. We were able to hear the heartbeat again, which is so fun. You could hear baby moving around in my belly...it is amazing that baby moves so much, yet I can't feel a thing.

One great thing that we found out yesterday is that baby is further along than anyone originally thought. Which means, baby has a brand new due date...JULY 12th, 2009!!!. That means as of today I am 15 weeks and 5 days along!!! I love being moved up...it feels like I am being moved to the front of the line! Way to go baby!

While this is AWESOME news for me, Marc is a little less than thrilled. Not because he loves being around his pregnant wife's cheery personality, and wants it to last longer :), but because baby was already cutting into fishing season, and now baby is REALLY cutting into to fishing!

Marc has a fly-out fishing trip to the Nushigak River at the end of June, beginning of July. I kept telling him he was pushing it...well now he is really pushing it. He has a plan though...a sat phone, a friend with an airplane, and me with a list of phone numbers to call in case I go into labor. Now, I just have to laugh at this, and for those of you who know Marc and his trips you are probably laughing too. Marc is the KING of getting weathered in during fly-out trips. He is constantly getting stuck somewhere because of weather, and not getting in until days (or even a week) later. However, somehow, in his mind, he thinks this "plan" of his is going to work.

I don't think he is taking into account that your last week of pregnancy is supposed to be the worst, most uncomfortable, scary week of the whole thing. So, I am trying to explain this to him...but it hasn't sunk in yet :).
