That's right...no baby girl...STILL! We had yet another appointment yesterday, and this little girl is still content just staying where she is at. She is showing no signs of wanting to make her grand debut. We are basically exactly where we were at 5 days ago. She has a little stage fright it seems.
So, here is the deal. This little stubborn baby girl has the rest of the week to change her mind. If she still has not come on her own by Sunday night, then they will induce me on Monday morning. We have the appointment all set up and ready to go, just in case.
I really, really did not want to have to be induced...for a number of reasons. I know that being induced is no big deal, but personally, I just wanted to be able to do this on my own. And being induced changes alot of what we wanted during labor. However, I am quite excited to have an ending date in sight. I am keeping Monday in my head as the date, and if she comes earlier...I will be that much more excited. I am just done with being disappointed every single day she is not here yet. So, new date, new plan...we will be just fine with this.
That means, unfortunatley, one more week of work. While I love my job, I loved the thought of being off for a bit. That also means one more week of Marc and I having some great time together, with it just being us, husband and wife, no baby, just us. I love the thought of that. We have been spending so much time together lately, it has been awesome! While alot of our time together hasn't even been doing anything spectacular, just being together has been great! Not much longer until it is three of us...that changes things.
So, one more week...Monday morning...and then baby. We can totally do this. Totally!

you're right, being induced is no big deal, I've had to be induced with all of my kids! I don't know if you tried this, but look online at accupressure points for induction. There is a spot just above your ankle that is said to induce labor if your body is ready, and also it's supposed to make it a little faster and less painful! Just something to try. I did it to my sis (along with castor oil) and she went into labor, my chiropractor friend is the one who told me about it! Anyways, just a thought if you REALLY want to do it without being induced, but like I said, being induced is no big deal :) Good luck
