It is amazing to me how my personal life and needs have basically become non-existent...and I don't mind. It is all about Bella now, and the time that Marc & I spend spoiling her...yes she is spoiled!!!
She is now 11 weeks old! Man time flies. We have the sweetest, most perfect baby ever! She is changing so much every day, it is so exciting. She smiles, and just this week she started to giggle!! It is the cutest thing you have ever heard, I swear! You still really have to drag those giggles out of her, but I am sure they will start coming more on there own! I can't wait. What a little doll Bella is!
So, as you can tell, Marc and I are obsessed. We are in seventh heaven, and loving every minute of it! It is so surprising how immediately, and how deeply you love your babies! And this coming from two people who weren't sure when, and if they wanted kids. We should have done it years ago...yeap, I said it! We are so blessed. And Bella, this little doll, is so loved by us, and her family, and our friends!
The last 11 weeks have been busy, crazy, and wonderful altogether. We had a visit from my parents which was wonderful. We spent time with her grandma, and grandpa. My dad got to go fishing with Marc, and my mom and I shopped, and relaxed. Mom taught me a lot about babies, and Bella, and the visit was great. That visit was followed by a visit from my sister Chelsea, and my 5 month old niece Ella. Wow, did we go, go, go during that trip. Glacier viewing, train rides, trip to Seward, fishing, hiking, playing, shopping, cooking, and learning from one of the best moms I will ever know. I am so glad I got that time with her. Chelsea taught me more about being a mother than she will ever know. Marc, Bella & I have spent time with friends, friends, and more friends. We have just lived and loved our new life.
Now, I have taken way too many pictures, as is to be expected! So, here is a slideshow that shows what we have been up to the last 11 weeks. All the pictures lumped together. Maybe, if I can keep on my blogging in the future, the updates and pictures will be better organized. There is also a video of Bella smiling (taken about 3 weeks ago). I will catch her giggle soon and post that too!!!
Thanks for all your support! We love you and miss you all!

What a sweet little girl! It is amazing how you realize just how selfish life is until you have kid huh? Even without intending it to be or noticing it. After 5 1/2 years of doing the mother thing, I really want some selfishness back :) You seem to be doing a GREAT job. Glad Bella is doing so good, it makes life so much nicer to have a sweet baby.
Great Post Chan!! I love it!! There are so many pictures, it took me FOREVER to get through them - but they are GREAT!! I have to say, my favorites are of US!! I LOVED my trip to Alaska - what a great time!! I miss you so much looking at those pictures!! Tell Bella to stop growing!! You are the greatest mom EVER!! Love you sis!
I was wondering when you were gonna update? It is sooo different with a little one! She is such a doll and Im sooo glad your spoiling her cuz they grow way to fast so dont put her down for a second!
There were SO many parts of this awesome post where I was like, "yep, uh huh, hear ya there!!". Everyone told me before Eden was born that 'having a baby will change your life'. I never knew how WONDERFUL those changes would be, and how deep those emotions of love, adoration, and gratefulness would run. Bella is soooo precious! LOVE the pics and LOVE the video! Can't wait to see her tomorrow and give her a big SMOOCH on that cute, chubby cheek! :) I love that our girls are going to be hitting a lot of those same milestones (like giggling) at the same time... Like Bella, you really have to pull those chuckles out of Eden, but when she does it, her daddy and I squeal and shriek with excitement like little school girls. LOL
I love your new post. Jaycen and I sat up last night looking at all of your new photos of Bella. She sure is a beautiful little girl!
xoxo
