We left at 5:00am on Thanksgiving morning and took a 4 hour drive and a 30 minute boat ride to spend Thanksgiving with our good friends Joe, Heather & Mia in Seldovia. We had a blast. Marc and Joe worked all day cooking and preparing dinner while Mia, Heather and Myself played Wii. It was so much fun. We played Tiger Woods Golf , Wii Fit, Boxing, Tennis...and by then end of the night we were as sore and tired as could be! It was a blast!
On Thanksgiving night Joe made us all get off the couch and take a walk in the snow. It was great fun. What a wonderful way to end Thanksgiving day. We walked, laughed and talked. What more could you ask for.

On Sunday...more Wii...more of us girls whooping Marc's butt at almost all of the games. We worked so hard at wiping his name clear off the record board...we did a pretty good job at it too. Then Sunday afternoon, we took another walk...this time on the beach looking for sand dollars.

So, throughout this trip, Marc was constantly giving Mia a hard time. He kept wanting to race her...short distances...quick sprints. Well, Mia is a distance runner...a marathon runner. She actually just returned from running the New York Marathon (Go Mia!). Marc talked Mia into racing 2 times...and Marc won...both times. Well, as you can guess, Marc's ego was pretty high at that point. Mia talked Marc into running at her game...distance. They decided on 2.5 miles and bet a measly 10 dollars. (I honestly don't know what Marc was thinking...he hasn't run in like 2 whole years - but it was fun to egg him on). Needless to say...they raced...Mia TOTALLY won - no comparison...Marc made it to the end...and he could not walk right for the next 4 days. Poor guy. At least he finished the race. G0 Marc!
Here is Mia Cheering him along...after she had already been done for awhile.
So in the harbor of Seldovia is this old navy ship that has been there for years...never moved...never used. Marc, Joe, Mia and I decided to take a walk on the wild side and sneak a peak inside. It was old, stinky, and dark. But it was fun!
It turned out to be a wonderful well remembered Thanksgiving weekend...we hope yours was just as wonderful. Love you and miss you all!!
