Changing Themes...

I realize that I change themes as often as I change...well...my underwear - which is almost daily...:) (I blame it on O.C.D.) I am so glad I have an understanding husband who puts up with my ever-changing moods along with my ever-changing obsessions. Last week I couldn't get enough of the upcoming election. This week I am so dang glad Grey's Anatomy is back on; I can't seem to talk about anything else. At least my husband and I understand it is one of my charming quirks, and we have come to terms with it. 

So the election and my volunteer work. I got to volunteer...for about two weeks. I had the chance to do a variety of jobs. I called and did surveys both nationally and in statewide...(not quite my cup of tea). I also got to be the official sales lady...pushing McCain/Palin apparel and merchandise. I had the opportunity to run the front area at the office...greeting customers, answering the phone, along with sitting there and looking pretty. I however, never got my chance to work under the sexy men of the secret service...my overall goal. It was fun, it was rewarding, I learned alot, and now I am so done with that.  I met alot of very nice people, all whom were volunteering their time and energy...I totally and completely commend them. While they were so nice...most of them were so...political. While I was, and still am very excited about Sarah Palin and the upcoming election, I just don't know enough about politics to be, shall we say, a right winged political weirdo. (I do mean that in the nicest possible way). In the end I was asked to join all of these local Republican Groups. Such as: Young Republicans of Alaska, and Republican Women's Group of Alaska. Again I say...I am not that political. One of the requirements for joining these groups is you should be a registered republican...which I am not...which I feel proved to be a problem. I'm sure I could...if I still chose...continue volunteering at the McCain/Palin headquarters. However, I got my fill of the political scene, and I am onto my next obsession...Grey's Anatomy. Yeah for Thursday Nights!!! I am sure you are all so glad you will no longer have to put up with me and my crazy political obsessions. I will be back to normal posting (as normal as it gets for us).
