Hunting for Bear...

The first week of October, our friends Scott and Mike came up from Idaho to visit and do some bear hunting with Marc. We always love to see them and look forward to each of their trips. This was Scott's 4th trip to visit, and this was Mikes' 2nd trip. We love how dedicated they both are to these yearly visits. (On a side note - those of you who have yet to visit us...take some pointers from Scott & Mike.)

So, every time Marc goes hunting or fishing I can't wait to see the pictures from his trips. I always send him with a camera begging for photos, but he is always coming home empty handed. This trip, he didn't bring a camera with him, and I was graced with hundreds of photos upon his return...(apparently sending him with the camera isn't the trick). The trick in getting pictures from Marc is to steal the photos from his friend’s camera before they leave. (I'm a genius...I know.)

Now, I don't know much about the trip other than all three of them got a black bear. Marc and Scott shot theirs the very first day...at the exact same time. Apparently Scott's bear took quite a tumble down the mountain. Mike shot his bear on the third day. The hiking was brutal, it snowed, it was cold, and it was successful.
